A refined piece of 18th-century aristocratic fashion, the Duchess Angélique of Rambouillet Wig captures the elegance and sophistication of the French nobility during the reign of Louis XV. Inspired by the opulent styles of the late Baroque and early Rococo periods, this wig features voluminous, carefully curled locks in a powdered grey tone, a hallmark of noblewomen's hairstyles from the early 1700s.
The intricate curls are meticulously designed to reflect the grandeur of the royal courts, particularly those of Rambouillet and Versailles. Crafted to bring to life the opulent charm of the period, this wig is perfect for historical reenactments, theater productions, and period events, offering an authentic glimpse into the regal past.
The elastic base has a circumference of 17" (42 cm) and goes up to 25" (63 cm).
Made in our small manufactory in Athens, Greece.
