Beau Brummell Regency Wig – 1790s Light Brown Brutus Style Wig For Men – 18th Century Georgian Historical Theater Wig
A light brown men's wig in the Brutus or "à la Titus" style, popular between 1790 and 1810. This design reflects the transition from the powdered wigs of the late 18th century to the shorter, more naturalistic haircuts of the Regency era. Commonly associated with figures like Beau Brummell, this style was fashionable in both England and Revolutionary France.
The wig features a voluminous crown with softly defined curls and cropped sides, capturing the neoclassical influence of the period. Made to resemble natural hair, without powder or tight queue styles, this wig suits theatrical performances, period reenactments, or museum-quality costuming.
Handcrafted using high quality polypropylene yarn and an elastic cotton wig base. Lightweight, comfortable, and designed for secure fit on stage or in motion.
The elastic base fits people with head circumference from 52cm (or 20" ) up to 63cm (or 24" ) Can be custom made larger or smaller.
Made in our small manufactory in Athens, Greece.
